Not sure if that would be for me but it would be good to see a bit more choice from VW.

Saw an Atlantic Blue GTi yesterday in bright sun. Car could have been cleaner but looked a very flat navy. Also didn't think the red GTi stripes go with the blue paint.

I saw an Atlantic Blue GTD yesterday, and it did look like boring navy blue. However I saw an Atlantic Blue R Line in a showroom a few months back. There was bright sunlight coming through the dealers window shining right onto it, I did a double take as at first I thought it was a Lapis Blue R. Then I walked around the side to see the tiny looking 17 inch wheels.

I have just died and gone to heaven. Love it and it would go with the Mk2 I've been trying to buy for a few years.

Yeah they had the Atlantic in my local dealership, 100% agree on the red not going with the blue.

... but it does look fantastic with the chrome of the Golf R/GTD. Great colour for show rooms and bright sunny days. Not so good in the evenings and dark winter days. Though few people think about that when in a show room.

I had 2 'oops moments' recently. The first was with a dark grey car. Saw it on my second look and thought - where did that come from. The second was with a brown car sitting in my blind spot and thought - where did that come from. Then thought, WTF a BROWN car

Agree. I saw an Atlantic GTD in a showroom and it looked great. Out of the spotlights and with a bit of dust on it and it takes on a whole new colour which isn't great.
Just a mega poor choice of colours across the range by VW.

That looks incredible!!  Green is making a come back, recently seen reviews of new SQ5 and RS5 both in green.

If you go on the German site they have so many colours to choose from, UK are so limited. Would be great to get the same choices over here. Think there are 4 greens and about 12+ blues and purples.
