Anyone seen a GTi in white silver? I have seen a few basic Golfs now in the colour and it really doesn't look good at all, just a pale grey really. Went to my dealer today as they had an indium grey GTE about to be delivered and given my order is currently for an indium GTi I wanted a look. Did look very good in the showroom maybe a darker colour than I would normally go for but really can't see another decent option. Love Pure White but have had a White GTD for almost 4 years now so kinda need a change I reckon.

Still time to change the order but currently think I will stick with Indium.

I've seen the same one twice, on a sunny day it look nice but on the dull day it looked like it needed to go back to Germany to be painted.

There was a link to a video of an R in that colour in a dealers posted a few pages back and I thought it looked fantastic. But I'd have same concerns as above. It's neither white nor silver. So I think if you want white stick with pure white or oryx (which is difficult to justify the cost of imo).
Apart from that, I would agree that the colour palette is far from inspiring. Indium is nice but not really "wow" imo and it's on every other Passat/Tiguan/Polo. The blues are a bit so-so too. I saw a "Black rubin" over the weekend and that's an absolute travesty.
So I think I'd probably stick with Indium with some lingering doubts...

Agree that Black Rubin is a travesty and never an option for me. Pure white is a fantastic colour and really glows bright when clean but as I'm taking on a 2 year lease with the GTi I just think that it would be 6 years with a white golf and picking up a new car in the same colour doesn't hold the same excitement.

Haven't seen Isaac Blue so not sure about it so it's kinda Indium by default. Generally like blue cars but Atlantic seems a pretty flat colour and also very dark.

I like brighter colours, so I've gone for Tornado Red.

I also prefer metallic, if I'm paying for paint  but there's no bright metallic colour :(

I love my Atlantic Blue GTD. In the sun, it looks stunning. Was a bit apprehensive when I ordered it, but don't regret my decision at all. Everyone who has seen it thinks it is a fantastic colour.
Really cannot see why so many people like the Isaac Blue - this looks very bland.
Indium is just yet another grey car - nothing special about it.
Tornado Red is also a great colour, and I can see why people do for White as well.

I've found it so hard picking colours in the past, then down the line when the novelty wears off you see an identical car to yours in a different colour and like it more.  I've not seen many MK7.5s to compare yet but I'm liking the pictures on here very much.  Some days Indium and Isaac are winners but I had a car from another manufacturer in their version of the VW white silver and it looked great.  On it's own it looked white, in the sun it looked fantastic, the only snag was in a line of cars it could look a bit off but I got used to it.

One man's 'bland' is another man's 'subtle and classy' - good job we don't all like the same thing else there's the risk that everyone (instead of 'nearly everyone') would have ordered Issac Blue like me

Only just placed my order, choosing the options was straight-forward enough, but colour choice is still giving me a headache.

Choice was out of Indium grey or Isaac blue.

Went for Isaac blue in the end, but still not 100% sure!
