Hi everyone,

Slightly off-topic from Rubin as a colour. I'm in process of ordering a new 7.5 GTI PP upgrading from my existing 3yr old Mk7 GTI. Looking at going for Atlantic Blue. What's the thoughts? I'm already in a Midnight Blue which looks fantastic and trying to work out if there's a noticeable difference

Thanks all
I really like the Atlantic blue, fresh, and a nice contrast against the red GTI accents. its a lighter shade than midnight...there is definately a noticeable difference, but after having midnight blue wouldnt you like more of a change?...I have ordered an Isaac blue GTI PP but this will be my first ever car in blue.
The wait is killing me....

You can see my pics of my Atlantic Blue GTD on this thread (about page 19, I think). Really pleased with the colour. The pics don't do it justice. It really comes into its own in the sunlight, with the effect of the metallic flecks really coming through. I got tired of all the black/grey/silver cars which I have had before, and don't regret my choice at all.
I know that lots of people seem to like the Isaac Blue - but it seems a bit dull to me.
Don't know the difference between Atlantic and Midnight Blue though....

Wow! Looks fantastic on the GTD TonyJ - very sharp. Definitely is a lighter tone relative to Midnight Blue.

Thanks all for thoughts so far. I'm a big fan of the the dark blue on the GTI vs the red stripes. Thought about the Isaac Blue but just couldn't quite convince myself on it.

Anyone else with Atlantic Blue on their orders or have already taken delivery? Keen to see how it looks vs the red stripes.

Cheers

Atlantic looks very very similar to Midnight, which again was very similar to Shadow blue in the MK5/6. Maybe a blink and you'd miss it shade difference from one to the other..

Does look a cracking colour!

I'm wanting to order, but cant decide on my colour! I was going towards indium grey, but grey is a very common car colour now. Anybody ordered/taken delivery of a black one? Interested to see what the standard wheels look like against this colour.

They do look very similar, a few shades lighter than night blue.
