I still find it a bit of a shame that for such a special run GTI they didn't do something  unique like make it available in the two original colours the mk1 GTI was availabe in at launch over 40 years ago (mars red and diamond silver).

^^Agreed, mars red is one of my favourite colours, would definitely have ordered my clubsport in that had it been available.

I'm fed up with mars Red, a friend of mine runs a bus company and sprayed his entire fleet in that colour.

I dont think imo you can compare the CS-S to limited run Porsches but maybe the renualt sport limited run models or audis.
When Audi brought out the £42020 A1 quattro limiited edition of 333 cars with only 19 being available in the uk it does seem to have held its value quite well over the years.

I see that one of Porsches GT3 engineers was head of the CS-S team  :nerd:

Now the facts are slowly coming out - is there any wonder the CS-S is being seen by the British media as such a special car ...?!

Had an update on my CSS.
Last time I heard was that it was in transit to the port but today my excellent dealer has told me when he looked into why the status hasn't changed was that it was built but at factory awaiting a software update before it could be released.
I wonder if this is anything to do with the white CSS losing a cylinder when CAR had it at Anglesey (mentioned in mag not the video)?

Karsten Schebsdat worked on the Golf mk7 from the start and not solely the CS or CS-S been known for several years.  Bit of a demotion I guess from Porsche, but possibly a pay rise...

I heard this one today too, apparently they are hoping the software will be done by the end of the week. I just assumed it was the Nuremberg profile they need to load onto it.
