Ive actually just purchased one today
It was advertised at a little more than what I wanted to pay but it hit all the specs I wanted baring the heated seats, which I can live with and I received more than I was hoping for on the trade in so it was a no brainer. It is actually from Leeds too. The garage has hundreds of good reviews and all looks good. 46k on the clock its a 61 plate so should avoid the tensioner issue? I also opted for the 3 year extended warranty, it covers mostly anything up to 2k for 3 years and you can claim as many times as you like, obviously apart from the wear and tear. It was pricey for the warranty but having been stung before it gives me massive piece of mind, do any of you guys have warranties?
Few minor issues I had, there were a few chip stones on the front but being white it doesn't show up much, there was one that had had a bad job of being touched up done to it but I could get that sorted out for not too much, there was a few hairline scratches also which I could sort out if I wanted too.
Another issue which stood out was on the test drive, the car had very little fuel in, in fact it had 0 miles and the guy put a bit in with the funnel for the test drive and after giving it a bit of beans we came to some lights, when stopped the car started to lose revs then gain revs and make a funny noise. I looked at him and he said its likely just the lack of fuel, the fact its been stood for a while etc and just needs some proper fuel in and a good drive. It does sound legit and I suppose if there is any issues I am covered by warranty. Has anyone come across this?
Its getting a service, aircon service, Brake pads changed and valet before I pick it up. Cant wait to get the plate on it and get it out.
