Hub sport steering wheel boss help

Hi I purchased a hub sport steering wheel boss off ebay too fit my mk3 the boss goes over the splines but just can't get the centre bolt too the threads am I doing something wrong or have they sent me the wrong item can someone help cheers

Have you tapped it down. Last one I got on a mk2 i hade to tap it down until I could get a thread then it pulled it up tight

Hi mate have just tried that still not going on has anyone else had problems with hub sport boss kits

Gotta be the wrong lenth then if it goes in to the spline but nit far enough down. Is it touching anything behind?

All fixed now got a momo hub so much better
