Where you thinking of removing the badges?
Audi S1 gone, awaiting 1.5tsi r-line, pan roof, led lights front and rear, active dash, 18" jurva alloys and a dealer fitted Oettinger roof spoiler in tornado red.

Not a fan of R debadging, makes it just too anonymous looking, but someone vwroc.com debadged theirs front and rear recently.

I know a red Golf with four exhausts and 19 inch alloys is never going to look too tame but I like the idea of most people just thinking its a regular golf.

Just take the badges off. You can always stick them back on if you don't like the look.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

No need to take the badges off to achieve that.  Most people think they are regular Golfs anyway.

Indeed.
Most people are surprised when I tell them "no, it's not a diesel"
In fact even my four pipes are now semi invisible. I kind of like that look but really should break out the Brillo pad and oven cleaner.
