revs up to around 5500 ish. It's so smooth the speed is deceptive.
Great cars, very underrated.

That's not just the GTI its the GTD also and a MK 7 trait imagine, as you can easily be caught out if accelerating in mid range. Cruised past someone the other day as lanes widened from 2 to 3 to just position self from the masses and Ooops, had to have a double look and rein it back in, genuinely had no idea.

Getting the R as want to have better pull away etc but once up and running the MK 7 pulls so effortlessly and smoothly that its real pleasure to drive.

Hi guys, I picked my gti pp manual up on saturday and decided to do the prep work myself, Its nearly finished just a few more hours and I am there...Just wondering what can I expect in terms of performance ? and whats the best way to drive the car ..meaning the rev range and gear changes, I am running the Gti in right now so under 4000 revs but what can I expect from 4000-6000 if I go into this range ?

You can really see the detail as black can look awful if not pristine, but if can look after it then its a great colour and added to by the touches of red and the Santiago which think give it a real lift. If not had GTI before you going to love this so once put some miles on it and made some of own opinions then do share.

Seems you are quite keen on the detailing....it already looks great.
