I ordered a Clubsport and I'm not pee'd off in the slightest.

I could of got an R for less money (same options) but wanted a GTi.

The Clubsport S is a track based car, but I wanted a road based car as I have a dedicate track only car.

I'm happy to have a GTI

Granted its a small niche between them all now, but its a niche none the less and they will sell all I am sure.

Dave

Thats exactly how read this when heard of it, the ClubSport S is track day and would be really difficult to live with as a 'normal' car unless single or where girlfriend/boyfriend, family, passengers and comfort are bottom of your care about list.

Totally appeals to me and the lack backseats mean better for Ikea, do not think it will be hard to live with if you can put up with two seats, always liked the Mini GP concept, I've spoken toy dealer about one to see what the likely hood is of getting one, all be it M2 turns up at the beginning of November

The rear 'door' cards still have armrests in them and the parcel shelf supports are still there. It looks like a home built conversion, not a factory built track car.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Youd think that they would save some money and just take all the unused plastics out

Got to admit some bare metal in the back would be nice.

Yeh... Stripped out for a track car. Buy a clubsport s, get it home and get the tool kit out to pull the rest of the inside out that vw put in. Haha
