Dynaaudio - Worth Getting?
« on: 18 April 2016, 19:34 »
Do people think that dynoaudio is worth paying for?  I have never heard it.

I do like listening to music in the car, however didnt really have a problem with the mk6 audio system.

Would it help resale values?

If you check the options on the configuration vw dyno audio gets reduced to 0 with other options you want DNS PRO or tech pack not sure which...

I really like it but it depends on what your ears, taste and budget is. It's worth checking out a car with it before you order or not.

It's well worth it, especially for the price they are asking.
Dynaudio make some of the very best loud speakers in the world, even the 'cheap' ones are brilliant.

Yes thanks, i did see this, am happy with the standard sat nav anyway.  Dont really need directions that often, thereby just leaving a decision to be made on dynaudio.

Budget isn't too much of an issue, £535 is affordable, although that depends on if i get the discount that has been offered to me.  Will be using a loan to pay it off and it is the equivalent of 2 months extra payment.

I havent got the time to check really, the finance guy is calling me tomorrow to give me a final price..

Oh ok, so do you think this will help with resale>?  I do like listening to music in the car, sometimes have long journeys to do and am planning a long road trip in summer.

If you like to listen to music in your car it is definitely worth getting.  I have heard both Dynaudio and standard audio in the Golf and I can personally tell the difference.  As already stated, Dynaudio make some of the best monitor and loud speakers in the world.  If you configure the Tech Pack you get the Dynaudio virtually free with Nav Pro as a bundle.  With Dynaudio in the Golf you get an amp, 8 Speakers and a Sub Woofer in the boot which rests as a cap on top of the space saver wheel in the boot.  It is only a small sub.  So don't expect masses of bass resonating from your boot.  It more or less rounds the bass of your speakers without over doing it.

Infact I liked the Dynaudio in my car so much I specified it again on my new Golf R which is currently on order.

Thanks all, i think i have been convinced!

I just hope that it doesn't delay the build.  I am reading on german forums that if you spec the bucket seats, that it takes longer to make (presumably a shortage).

You will find it is the case, if you configure certain options i.e. DCC, Oryx White Paint etc, The build will take longer.  It does not surprise me if it takes longer for the Bucket Seats.  My current GTI took 6 months as I specified certain options others didn't and they got their cars earlier even though they ordered them after I ordered my car.

I will buck the trend, and did not spec it on the Clubsport.

Have it on the Mk7 GTi we have now, and I actually ticked that box first, but have never been blown away by it at all.

I was hoping it was going to be night and day, but for me it was just ok, and not worth the extra investment to be honest.

Good luck with it though.
