Well you can't beat them lease them, just ordered a white Estate with winter pack and coming in at £6,800 over two years, got it through my dealer who was competitive.

Deal is stopping today

So will be a three R family until the M2 arrives, Estate will replace the Polo, I will keep my R for another six months and have some fun with it and sell it when the M2 arrives

If I can get a really good lease deal on an R hatch then that will probably be my next car for a few years. I'm not a massive fan of the R styling but it would suit my circumstances at present (looking to move house this year). Failing that, possibly the S3 or M235I if the deal is right.

Personally, the only way I would go down the R route is via a lease agreement as I would be pretty concerned about the resale values on the R just now

I lost loads on my R Craig, so leasing is very sensible.

WHen are you getting the M2 wigit ?  Did you spec a final order yet ?  My local dealers first car comes in June so am going to see it when its there..  My build slot is one of the 2 available in 2017 as I am no great hurry but it doesn't seem to look like there will be many demo's around - look forward to some feedback !  The thing I like is the basic spec is pretty much all I would want as manual is for sure how I would go, Prof Nav and Xenons std, no choices on trim or wheels so I would probably only add heated seats and maybe sunroof, probably Mineral Grey as I reckon LBB will be nice but very popular and need to see it in the flesh.  I asked about individual colours as I fancied Valencia Orange but its a no go due to the factory..
Daily drive - LCI BMW 330 D Estoril Blue & Saddle leather. M sport + Pack / Prof Nav / Head Up / Heated Seats
On the way - CS ed 40 tornado red, manual, 3 door
Weekend fun - low mileage portofino blue 1997 Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo
2017 Build Slot reserved for BMW M2

Order is based on LBB with DCT, Harmon Kardon, heated seats, folding mirrors and folding rear seat

I have seen a few LBB and AW in flesh and likely to go MG (local dealer has one in next week so I will take some pictures), then that it to some carbon goodies and the three way coilies

I also wanted Valencia Orange

Craig if you come across any good deals let me know as it may be worthwhile for now in the short term with my change of circumstance.

Interesting on the dark side a few people are not having Estate applications now honoured by VW, poor show if you ask me, we'll see what happens to mine but if they do alas final nail in the VW coffin for me

I've been driving a CLS350 shooting brake today and with airmatic suspension and combined with the engine it is rather nice.

Unfortunately brokers have taken orders from customer they couldn't get cars for.

The cheap lease deals were on on specific factory scheduled build weeks.....not on any freshly placed factory orders.
