Is there a facelift due for the mk7 anytime soon?  I'm probably up for a renewal towards the end if the year and haven't really seen anything else I like.  Tempted to go for another GTD.

this changeable volume might be why both me and my missus thought new car was much more refined than the last one as its seems a lot quieter in the cabin now

Having just looked into this, I'm going to unplug it.
It looks straight forward and I don't think it adds anything to the car at all.

Let us know what you think with this, I've considered it because I don't like fakery but must admit to having got used to it now and quite like it.
I'll have a go at it tomorrow and let you know how I get on.
Just had a quick go at removing the Soundaktor and although it's a straightforward job, I struggled to get my large ungainly mitts through the small gap to reach the connector.
I've turned it down via the controls for now but would really like it gone if possible.
It doesn't sound at all good to me

I'm sure you'll get it disconnected soon. I wasn't so keen to start with but it grows on you. Saw your new car pictures on the other thread, looks fantastic!!

Thanks Watts
I'll probably leave it for now as it's much better on the low setting.
Not worth breaking a nail over just yet
