MIB 2 control unit placed yesterday afternoon in just over an hour by the dealer.  So good to have some banging tunes on the radio to drive home to after just over a week of nothing.  Will get all my settings input back in later today, but so pleased to have it all back in order for the weekend sir!

So it looks like it could be the card, however.....

Got in the car this morning and there instantly was an 'SD card read error' message on the unit. The driver screen unit between the dials was completely black! I turned off the car, got out, got in, turned on, still black. I nipped out to the shops and on the return trip the screen worked. Seeing the dealerthis afternoon..... Sick of these intermittent electrical faults. Not happy at VW.....

Sounds like an absolute pain that really needs sorting. Sadly, some dealers are not exactly proactive when it comes to solving "difficult" problems. You may have to resort to contacting Milton Keynes. Whatever, don't put up with crap like this. I reckon you've done enough trying to sort it yourself.

Although VW Northampton have been helpful, but they're refusing to act unless there is an error message. Just nipped out to the shops and the SD card music issue surfaced again... This is the 3rd SD card I've used, so pretty certain it's not the SD card anymore.

How do you contact MK VW headquarters? I'd really like the unit replacing now, because there isn't an error message and there are still issues!!

I've not had personal experience of them, but I have heard that  @VWUKHelp on Twitter can assist. I'm sure someone on here will have contacts at MK and may know better ways of getting attention. Do hope you get it sorted quickly. These things get under your skin, don't they?
