So,
Booked the car in to install VWR springs, went with these because of the ACC suspension.
The garage has a good rep because their head mechanic is top notch, I made the mistake of letting the others work on the car,
but when they were doing the springs (which is a simple enough job) they didn't take off the drive shaft bolts and just kept them in, also without using a hub spline tool they just banged off the hubs with a hammer... now on normal shocks this wouldn't concern me, but on electronic shocks with all sorts of tiny parts? maybe I'm just being paranoid, but the ball joints on both sides looked stretched to their max articulation same with the drift shafts as they pushed the hub off the strut (whilst the strut was still in, these angles to me looked very alarming, I couldn't really see what was going on until this was already done and there wasn't really any turning back...
Guess my question is, are my ball joints okay? are my drive shafts okay? what kind of damage can happen if they are bent down too much because they were bent down quite far to get the hub off the strut.
Oh and to top it all off? they broke my AFS level sensor for the headlights so xenons point to the floor, and ACC suspension is off so it feels like I'm on coilovers. (local plastic welder to the rescue)
I hope they trip and break a leg. only paid £80, but shocking non the less. not sure weather to go out and buy new ball joints and other parts... it's not like DSG drive shafts are cheap!

any advice greatly appreciated!
Thanks
