Before anyone gets ideas about the CS becoming collectible, it makes sense to find out how many will be built in total and how many coming to the UK.

The Uk were supposed to receive 1500 Ed30's, but there ended up being something like 2200 examples imported, so we may need to see how many actually arrive?

That is what we are waiting for.

3 days to go in Q1 (when I was told there would be more information), will it happen?

it's coming, don't worry. It's already visible on the dealers desktop system.
Personally I went the Golf R route ;)

Tough call between the two models.
I'm intrigued to see what the UK CS spec is going to be, hopefully not too much longer to wait.

From what I have heard, the bucket seats will be optional, add those and your well into Golf R money
There is only around £3000 difference already between the GTI PP and Golf R, So they will probably put the GTI CS in the middle?
Seem's way too close to Golf R money.

But the CS will have way better residues (fingers crossed)

I think the cheap lease deals on the R will set a precedent for low residues.

I just wish they made the R a proper R with a nice interior and more sporty looking.
im sure it's a fantastic car, it's just never appealed to me.

What's with this trend with gloss black wheels all of a sudden? Seen it on a brand new Audi RS5 at the weekend too, looks proper chav especially on a black car.

Anthracite would look much better on the clubsport

We're BMW not the ones that started black wheels on their cars years ago and all the chavs followed.
