Interesting though don't get Xennons or the buckets on standard spec.

Wonder if we will get charged for buckets too....

Xenons I recon will be standard with the buckets an option here. They don't get xenons standard in Germany on the GTi either amongst other option standard here but then the car the GTi and others are cheaper in Germany too.

Small update and confirmation....

UK car spec will get 18's as standard, as they state that in the competition they are running on FB to give them a name.

Bad side is that as they have not even named them yet, and its judged on the 15th March, means we won't see a release before then at least. Guessing end of March now.

Other news, a Red one is at Geneva, so pics hopefully soon.

I hope the interior makes it something special.

Based on the photos, I don't like the wheels. front bumper additions and can't get over excited about the rear spoiler.

The single black stripe looks like insulation tape and I can't see myself fitting red wheel badge additions to mine.

Is it just me, who finds the additions a little fussy over the standard car?

Somewhat agreed, its a mixed bag, but been growing on me.

You have to remember though that all other Editions have just been a trim and ECU tweek, at least this has something more, with the suspension, (small areo) and more major power hike, it had a somewhat small but at least development programme, whereas the ED35 or ED30 did not. Can't remember on the 25.

Ebay spoiler anyone https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/vw-golf-7-gti-clubsport-heckspoiler-heckfluegel-original/432354019-223-3983

To be fair, the Ed30 & 35 were a little more than Ecu tweak. Stronger versions of the 2.0 and larger Turbo, they have simple tuning potential out of the box which takes them to and maybe beyond the level of the production clubsport at the moment.

I hope the Clubsport comes good, I much prefer the standard spec 18" wheels. The interior and engine could still save the day!

Your correct I forgot the ED30 we had had the larger turbo too and S3 head mods too.

Looks great in red! Love the wheels and the dark tinted rear lights. Are they straight off the R? Might be worth swapping mine for if I could get a cheap pair.
