Tyres are such a debatable question ! Personal choice seems to rule the head, price, how we drive. One mans spirited drive maybe another mans dawdle home. My choice at the min are Michelin pilot super sports, they were very good in the warm summer weather, now we have moved to much colder and wet weather I had doubts, but wow they are awesome in the wet with standing water hardly having an impact. In the cold and damp this weekend I put some pressure on them in a spirited drive Sunday afternoon, very impressed with fast cornering, tightening lines through long roundabouts trying to get a reaction from the front end, quick direction change with plenty of power didn't bother them a bit. Hard braking didn't upset them either tracking straight and digging in well to take the speed off. Wish my brakes were better though, any brake upgrades people recommend ?

Tyres are 225 | 35 | 19 Michelin pilot super sports - not the cheapest but very impressed

35 Edition | Deep Black Pearl | DSG | RNS510 | Leather | 19" Glendales | Lux & winter pack | F&R PDS + rear camera | Xenon & LED F&R
Michelin Pilot Super Sports PS4 | Stage 1

Around £150 if you are running 19s ! Based on what I've experienced so far I would pay that again next time if they carry on performing and the wear rate is reasonable, if they last me 3 years the price fades into nothing compared with fuel costs and other associated running costs over the same period.

When I got new tyres on the work van at ats I asked about tyres. Guy said 465 I'm sure it was for 4 pilot super sports supplied fitted and balanced. Seems quite reasonable

I recently got a set of Goodyear Eagle F1's all round on mine for £87 a corner, which I thought was a bit of a steal! got it through Asda tyres believe it or not! This also includes delivery, fitting and balancing at your local garage of choice.

What made it even better is I priced up the exact same tyres through the garage I used and it would have cost me £105 a corner.

Just checked out the same site and tyre for the monza's and they start at £117 :(. Still...they appear to be the cheapest around and would have never thought about this cheers.

These look to get awesome reviews and often get compared to the Goodyear's! And £52 a corner excl del and fitting seems bloody awesome. I think I'm gonna get me some of these and see how they get on.

Thanks a bunch.

I ran these on my old A3. Easily outlasted all the other brands and grip was just as good

Fronts lasted 15k and the rears still had approx 3mm left adter covering over 20k. Got a set going on the A6 on Monday; can't wait!!
