Used camskill a few times and got the tyres next day both times. Cheapest at the time too.

What tyres you going for? Different places will be cheapest for different tyres

I recently got a set of Goodyear Eagle F1's all round on mine for £87 a corner, which I thought was a bit of a steal! got it through Asda tyres believe it or not! This also includes delivery, fitting and balancing at your local garage of choice.

What made it even better is I priced up the exact same tyres through the garage I used and it would have cost me £105 a corner.

I've just bought 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 from Tyreleader at £320, so £80 each. That's price delivered but not fitted. I'm rather picky about who handles my wheels, so I'm happy I can get them delivered then choose my favourite place to fit.

What Pilot Sports you got on? I believe the general consensus is that the best tyres for the GTI are currently Michelin Pilot Super Sport, Continental SportContact 5P and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2.

2016 sees the launch of new UHP tyres from each of those companies and so this recommendation may well change. Michelin are releasing the Pilot Sport 4 which I have heard will be more performance orientated than the slightly more touring biased Pilot Sport 3. Continental are releasing the SportContact 6, which is the OE tyre on the new Civic Type R.  I have the Goodyear F1 A2 currently and am very impressed with them in terms of performance and so the new Goodyear Eagle F1 A3 was the obvious choice for me especially with the price difference to the other 2. My current set has lasted 35K too with rotation from front to back.

I go to a place that uses top of the range Hoffman touchless tyre fitting machines and pay £12 a corner if I remember right from last time I used them.

The new continentals used on the fk2 type r are meant to be a brilliant tyre. I've came from an fn2 so member on forums and Facebook groups and the new owners rate them highly.

Often your favoured tyre dealers/fitters will match internet prices to get the sale if you ask them.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Place I used to use will now only fit tyres that are supplied by them, so booked in with Black Boots in Chesham. £20+VAT per corner to fit and balance with their touch less machine :/ Their alignment service is highly rated though and I'm having a 4 wheel geometry check at the same time
