mill light

iv a 2003 golf mk4 gti turbo 180bhp, it sat for 2 weeks on drive, when I took it out yesterday I had the mill light come on also the light above with the triangle, scanned it and this came up
01435 brake pressure sensor
01314 soft ware
16486 maf signal
16955 soft ware
any ideas that can help me

Is the battery fully charged?

If you reckon it is, you might try this trick as a long shot...disconnect the battery for half an hour or so, then hook it back up and see what happens. You could have a charger hooked up to the battery while it's disconnected, just to give it some more zap.

Might be a good idea to have your radio security code handy...just in case.

Not sure this method will work with a VW, but I've used it on lots of other makes and it has worked a treat.

And all it will cost you is a bit of time!

battery is fully charged, drove around yesterday and today in it, I disconnected battery for about 20mins but errors came back, I disconnected maf drove around today and car seems to drive a lot better, so im guessing the maf is fooooked. going to try and borrow one tomorrow to test it

sounds like your maf tbh but best trying a working 1 if you can before buying a new 1 :smiley:

At least you have the problem isolated now..tbh I never considered the maf as in all the diesels I've owned, only one (Pug 406) had it go sour and then it used to throw me into limp mode.
