Hi, I've fitted cruise control to my 2010 Gti , steering wheel and airbag req removal but apart from that just replace switch and then code to enable it- a worthwhile retrofit , cheers

I think there was a difference between 2009 models and later? I have read that the mk5 golf stalk fits the 2009 model and so is cheaper than the one fitted to the newer models...

I think the 2010 model and later requires both stalks as they come as a single unit and a new controller. This link helped me. The scirocco and mk6 are similar. http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=14802&hilit=cruise+control+retrofit
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.

Retrofitting cruise will depend on what hardware is in your car.
What part number is your BCM?

BCM is body control module.

A scan via VCDS will show BCM number and can check from there..

Ive been meaning to do the same.
