As for Facebook! Noooooooo! I used to have an account years ago but binned it. Too many adverts and pop ups on the phone for no reason, too much crap on there. Too many crap people on there!
"I'm having a really bad day"
"Ohhhhh what's up hun xxxxx"
Then no reply to the dozens of nosey/caring "friends" only for the original poster to appear a few days later with some photo showing what a great life they're having.... go figure...

And don't start on those motivational b0ll0cks posts. Grrrrrrrr

No, it's much 'safer' on here. Sort of.

Haha

Your "what's up Hun" point made me laugh.  I went on Volksgirls forum around the time I joined on here, just to see what it was like.  Well, apart from being in a minority because I didn't have a Beetle, every other post was "Aw, Hun, this and Aw Hun that".  Not for me

Yep,

I ditched Facebook ages ago. My Superscrounger sister (Think Jeremy Kyle and Benefits street all rolled into one - £38k a year in benefits and "carers allowance" for 2 of her 4 kids with diagnosed ADHD) posts on there every 5 mins about how tough her life is (fishing for people to ask "what's up?" doing feck all and getting paid handsomely for it. Packs the kids off to school and spends all day in Starbucks with her other mates that scrounge for a living - what a hard life, she even has a cleaner for her 5 bedroom council house.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

I don't think the MK7 has electric lumbar support. That was dropped after the MK6.

Available with the electric seats?

Now = 2011 MK6 GTI - Reflex Silver
Past = 2006 MK5 GTI - Tornado Red and Solid Black

Doesn't ever seem to have been offered as an option in UK/Irish markets. I've seen electric seats on the "lesser" MK7's here though - the GT/Highline models.

It's a hard life for some isn't it   And they want everyone else to share the their tax payer funded 'misery'

I still occasionally use FB, but mainly to keep contact with my best friends (and Godparents to my daughter) who live in Boston and Australia. and friends in Whitley Bay.  Otherwise I would happily do without the FB extremes of mass moaning one minute and 'inspirational' quotes the next

I came across this pic on my earlier Google trawl and assumed it was for Euro market.

It's a minor niggle but that manual adjustment handle (in your earlier pic) placed slap bang in the side of the seat is ugly, not to mention outdated. I prefer clean lines and the old rocker switch was discreet and worked well, so it slightly irks me that VW have taken a backward step with this.

That's not a manual handle Rebecca, that the electronic lumbar adjustment (in / out -up / down)

I don't mean the switches in the image above?  I mean the handle in this pic (below) which I'm told is the adjustment for the lumbar support now which has replaced the old rocker 4 way switch on Mk5/6s

The above pic is manual lumbar adjustment and that's what you'll have in your R.

Cheers Joe.  Yep, I was clear on that from earlier but I think Sootchucker got the wrong end of the stick.  A handle it is then.
