how do you get that low on your GTI Memsahib B? Do you hammer it everywhere in Sport mode or are you forever sat at traffic lights with your immaculately manicured fingernail inserted into your left nostril? (The ONLY reasons anyone would buy an automatic gearbox)

Unfortunately I'm far too poor to invest in shiny new French rubber so I'll have to make do.
Car insurance looming too (not cheap with teenage sons insured to drive my elderly GTI).
Besides if I was going to invest in new rubber I'd end up buying new wheels too and I've been working hard these last few years to break my bad old habits. I've still got my 19's off the GTI sat in the garage shod with Contis that might make an appearance one day.
I'm going to keep well away from tyre threads to keep temptation well out of my way!
