That would be one of the right ships for a Newcastle dealership (Benfield, I assume?). They move very quickly from port of Tyne to North East dealerships. You might even get your mitts on it a week on Monday if Benfield pull their finger out and PDI it sharpish.

And some chase it has been.  My R likes to play very hard to get.  If it was a bloke I would've given up long, long ago.   :wink:

Assuming the boat stays afloat and makes it into dock, it will doubtless be an anticlimax when I finally get it.  You know I might not even bother posting any pics............... :whistle:

R's are worth chasing but blokes are ten a penny and are even less reliable than ten year old Citroens. That's the main difference!

I think your R is just a bit shy and knows how much it's going to be in the limelight when it hits UK shores. I hope the photo hosting sites have bought in plenty of bandwidth ready for its appearance!

My BW 38 confirmed build date(w/c 14 Sep) has just changed to.'Your car has been built and has left the factory'!.I guess they must have been doing overtime this weekend or something!.Good times!. :laugh:

Good news!  Yes, they must be slogging over the weekends as someone else got a stage 4 - build in progress - for their R today too (though they were BW37!)

And so they bloody well should be to bring these wait times down.  :laugh:

Yes maybe all of the cancelled orders due to the waiting times have made them pull their finger out.
Just hope they aren't cutting corners on the quality side of things.I wouldn't imagine though.Maybe mine was built on Friday afternoon? :cry:
You should get a medal for your patience.I was ready to pull the plug after 2 months.
I'm off out in my M Lite to rack up some more miles for the next owner.I'm going to miss it. :sad:

It's pleasing to see a bit of movement here at last.
Maybe the factory are doing a bit of a right hand drive run at the moment(?).

I was speaking to the manager of a hire company during the week and they're expecting 21 R's within the next month (all from one dealer from what I could tell. He wasn't sure if it was Inchcape or Blade.
