Battleshipgray - don't be embarrassed at getting a quick turnaround.  That's how it should be.  I'm pleased for anyone of you members getting your Golfs sooner rather than later.  Hope it lives up to expectation when it arrives.  :smiley:

booth id not be too worried. my build week was week commencing 27th july and ive not heard anything since lol, but if I was you id not stop waiting now, the R is a fantastic car and definitely worth the wait especially as you have waited so long.

I'm not worried just very narked.  It is a fantastic car (otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it), but having to wait potentially another 6.5 months for it to arrive, on top of the 6.5 already elapsed?  It's not that fantastic.  :undecided:

Ha, ha, I did that for weeks, drove my other half mad!

The sun came out for a bit today so managed about 75 on the m'way with sunroof fully open, no buffeting, just a nice cool breeze - well happy with that.

Arranged a Tuesday pick up. Told the dealer i expected a full tank and he looked at me like I'd asked for a free car.
