Sorry to hear that Bec. That's just ridiculous.
I think what makes it worse is the lack of communication.
If VW were to turn round and say they were having problems sourcing the wheels and to expect a 3 month delay then you can at least make an informed decision. But I doubt any company would be this truthful as it would lose them plenty of customers.

You're right, it's the lack of information that's the killer in this situation. I can't fault James for communication, he always is very prompt in getting back to me. It's just that he doesn't have any answers to give. I almost feel sorry for him.
It is as you say. If only VW would just be upfront about the delay, then I could make a decision, but I agree, they will never admit to something that may potentially lose them sales. So silence reigns.
I'm not unrealistic, I knew there was going to be a good, long wait, and was prepared for that, hence me ordering way back in Jan, but when the possibility of it turning into a possible 13 month wait came out of the blue last week, well, it was a bit too much!
I will stay positive and just hope that confirmation is forthcoming this week.
