My bluefin is for sale in the MK6 classifieds area. Was great on my MK6 DSG. They even tweeked the file for me after I complained the horsepower increase wasn't that good. The new file they sent was brilliant. Torque was around 280ish lbs ft and around 250-260hp. If they did one for the mk7 I would have bought one by now.

Now - MK7.5 R in Pure White with DCC.
Gone - 2014 Mk7 GTI DSG Pure White - Discover Nav - Park Assist - Winter Pack.

I had the Bluefin on mine before I sold it and was always very satisfied with it. It was definitely quicker (as you could tell when I took it off before the car got part exed) and it maintained my interest in the car. Mine was also not modified in any other way so I don't doubt I could have got a bit extra if I'd done the usual exhaust, air intake mods.
However, I also once got taken out in a fellow member's Revo'd Mk6 and this was clearly much, much more powerful and more aggressive. I suppose it's each to their own. I liked Simon's description of Bluefin turning the car up to 12 - it sort of suits its linear nature.
Sadly, my Bluefin is now sat under my desk in its box. waiting for a car to be used on!!

I'd like to get my car remapped, I was planning on getting carbon chip tuning to have a look at it, but they seem to have gone very quiet. No reply to emails and no forum presence for months. Are they still trading?

Carbon are still very much alive and kicking :afro:

When did you email them?  I speak to Nick often so can give him a nudge if you like

Thanks Rhyso,
I sent an email 2 days ago. I'm not in a rush, I just couldn't find anything new on the net about them so wasn't sure if still going. I'm seriously considering getting my mk6 gtd remapped, they seem like the best option for me.

What year is your GTD on??

59/60 plates need ECU removal. 61 on should be via OBD

I can vouch for their GTD maps

It's a 12 plate. Just out of warranty so time to play!

How much should I be expecting to pay for a remap?

OBD job then

Prices vary..... I charge anywhere from £150 upwards for OBD depending on the car and how far I have to travel.  The big companies start at £250+
