Called Ronald at 1:30pm and he was "on the other phone". A colleague of his took my name and number and said he'd call back....he didn't.
Around 3pm, I got an email from my dealer, he provided me with a screen dump of his system, showing that as of today, the car officially entered port of Tyne ("PoEn" - port of entry, must mean it has cleared customs to be officially recognised as being in the country), as you can clearly see that it shipped on the 20th of May. He said he was checking status hourly to see when it changes to being booked into the compound (compound entry field is still blank). As soon as it has done that then he can come get it with a flatbed rather than waiting for VWUK's delivery agents to send it.
