Just got my stage 7.

I am going to have to cave in and head down there later to have a little peak. Might be able to get it on Thursday/Friday now.  :smiley:

Excellent, I am still waiting on my 5c but havent a clue when the next Emden to Tyne ship is. The Port of Tyne website says today but the City of Sunderland was still in Zeebrugge last night.

Still hoping get my car by the 11th June as thats when my BMW is going away.

Its all very exciting. Im crap at surprises so will definitely be down there before pickup day. Cant believe this wait is nearly over, I have had it lucky as well it seems It will be a 3 months 5 days wait when I have it.

I think my girlfriend has resigned herself that she wont see me for the next few weeks. Might even have to sleep in it!  :wink:

No stage 6 or stage 7 for me yet. Either the tracker isn't working or they found 12 Eritreans in the boot of my R at customs and have impounded it. Perhaps Ronald might actually have some info that I don't when he rings later today.

Another Ronald call i cant wait for the outcome of this one. They should definitely be giving you some compensation for this.

Maybe get that amount in a GTI/D boot  :grin:

Just had an email from my salesman after I emailed him a scan of my drivers license so he can arrange the 5 day free insurance and get the R taxed when it arrives (just me thinking ahead, he hadn't asked for it).

Was expecting him to be off today, but he's emailed me a screen dump of his system showing that it is still awaiting clearance at Tyne. He says that as soon as it is cleared, he will arrange for it to be collected rather than wait for VW UK's appointed transporter to deliver it.

If Only VW AG provided a level of service that attentive.
