Changes on VW Configurator - new bundled 'Packs' added

I have just read somewhere that the GTD estate comes with standard Nav, keyless and sound pack. That surely can't be right. Two of those were options I (along with others) paid nearly a grand for.

I posted that - its listed in the Golf Estate PDF brochure (the 'downloadable' document rather than the configurator) and has more than that - the GTD Estate is shown with the following standard features in addition to the hatch spec:

Winter Pack
Discover Navigation
Sport & Sound Pack
Keyless entry

Obviously there could be errors in this but the pricelists have tended to be a bit more reliable than the configurator.

Having said that the actual price of the car is still to be announced!

That's a lot included as standard, be interesting to see the price.

It is - and it will!  If I was getting one I would only need to add the rear camera and Dynauduio and you have a very high spec car!

That's a very good spec on the GTD estate. Sport and Sound pack is an odd option and I'd have thought Park Assist would be more useful for something of that length (plus camera for those of us like me who swear by the thing).
Sport and Sound is more of a hot hatch extra so maybe they put it in to justify the Sportwagen moniker? VW UK are weird.

DNS now has 6..5" Screen
Keyless Entry standard on GTI/GTD but extra (£360) on the R.
Tech Pack £1240 for GTD/GTI and £1840 for R.
Deep Ocean Blue is a new colour but costs £0 and you just see the car chassis when colour is selected!

Just Got confirmed bw21 this morning is there any way to delay this at least a week? I am tempted to add sport and sound which will cost an extra £7 a month or 90% tinted glass because......

That's very unlucky 

I asked a similar question of my dealer.  My build week is still unconfirmed BW24, but as these can move back and forth I asked if there was any way to ensure a post week 22 build.

Dealer phoned Volkswagen UK and asked if this was possible but was told they can't get the estimated build week pushed back or held.  He asked for the 'required' date on the system to be put back to post week 22 and this has been done, BUT he isn't sure if the factory even look at this. 

So not sure if they would be able to push back a confirmed build week but it's got to be worth asking?

You would think that because it's a lease car from VW it would give the car a better future value. It's the fact that I have paid £360 for keyless that is now standard that is really annoying me. I would have went for the extra tint as well if it was an option at the time.
