Changes on VW Configurator - new bundled 'Packs' added

Yeah I saw that response on the other forum but I don't really buy into it. As I say when you compare with the Match and GT/R-Line prices something funny is going on. Be interested to hear what response Booth11 gets

Having different prices for the same Tech Pack for the GTI/GTD and R is frankly ludicrous. Simply does not make sense. Perhaps it is not meant to as the only thing that is not common in such an instance is common sense.

Well my salesmen was meant to be ringing me back on yesterday about it. Still nothing. Same as usual. Lol. Are all dealers this unreliable or Isit just mine out of curiosity? Had about 3 different salesmen and it's always been the same story.

Just came back from a little spin just for the sake of it.

I am glad to report that I am perfectly happy with my 5.8" DNS and not envious of a bigger screen. I paid less than RRP for both the DNS and Dynaudio, so I am more than satisfied with my lot.

The car is immense and I could not stop grinning after my little spin this evening.

You guys and gals who are waiting for your Rs are in for a real treat.

I don't buy it either, a pathetic, laughable explanation, if you can call it that.  Let's see if I or Mr Savage get the same story or if VW come up with something even better 

I can understand the higher price for the Teck pack if it applied to both the GTI and the R (over the lesser models), but not a price discrepancy between those two.    We are being fobbed off

Just picked up another 9pm email from my dealer.  He's not yet heard back from VW Product & Marketing, and if he doesn't get a response on Monday, he will chase.

I've had some good salesmen but also some that were awful for communicating or more accurately NOT communicating.  I like my current dealer, and at least he's keeping in touch.  Plus he was personally recommended to me by a member on here, which carries some weight in my book. 

In all my new car buying history, the best service I've received has been from salesmen at broker dealerships.

Ok. Your car is not covered in L, but partially with Cow. Is the C word acceptable?
I have faux C on my door cards.
If you wait long enough, even C + faux C will be free!

BW45 '14 gave us the Dynaudio option and faux leather door cards.
Between BW45 '14 and BW22 '15 we got the Tech and Parking Packs.
BW22 '15 will see the introduction of the 6.5" CMS/DNS and the Heated Steering Wheel option.
BW45 '15 Vienna Leather will probably be free.

And so it goes on and on .........
