Well had a change of heart with the colour. Decided white isn't for me. Have asked for a Carbon Grey one instead!

Did the prospect of tar spots put you off?  Love Carbon Grey and sets the red stripe and calipers off very nicely, good alternative

Ha ha! Tbh I wanted the carbon grey one really, but my boss has a carbon grey gtd so didn't want to copy!

Nice one booth. Hope u enjoy it. Did u have your heart set on black? I would have been very tempted by rising blue. Love that colour.
Ha ha, I doubt I could ever keep my car as clean as you do!

Thanks snooze.

It was a toss up between the lapis blue or black.   Initially I was very tempted by the blue, great contrast with the black grill and beautiful in sunshine, but.....I LOVE black and the stealth look, and think the Pretorias/silver mirrors and lip combo looks pretty good against it, plus there's always the option to go black with the mirrors/lip later for uber stealth.  The effort of keeping black clean doesn't bother me as it's a bit of a hobby
I saw a Black R on the motorway today and it looked fantastic, hard for me to explain but i was just like Wow that's mean, it had Cadiz on as well.

Isn't imitation supposed to be the sincerest form of flattery

Except now you have to make sure your carbon grey looks better than his/hers, so the pressure's on (or will be), good job you bought that snow foam and lance

That's nice to hear.    I think properly turned out it could look stunning, even on Pretorias

Finally got confirmation from the stealer regarding the colour change. An extra few quid a month on the lease, but will be with it!

Looking forward to my first build update now!

Should find out my build week next week. I'm like a kid at Christmas already and have several months to wait for her!

Are you talking about getting your unconfirmed build week?

I know it depends on options etc, but what's the average wait for a GTI now snooze?

Haha Jimble, sounds like your plan  "Mission Mk7 GTI - The Sequel" is almost ready to be implemented

That's not a bad wait time, compared to an R

I managed to snatch a pre built R on a shipping dock in Germany. Saved me a 5 month wait, will be here in 2 weeks (I ordered it last week )
