Whats the reset cycle on those codes?
Never met a vw tech who doesn't know what vagcom is. I know one of my local dealers even use it for on the road diagnostics..
But if your talking to the service assistances I can believe it.

They have to review all of the diagnostic logs and submit them to VW Germany before any warranty claim can be made...

Whether or not they choose to decide that some of the errors are spurious or transient is something we can't know..
