have you checked you connection pipe to the master cylinder hasn't come out/ loose
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

worst brakes ever to bleed in my opinion , yes bleed the MC but getting a decent pedal can take a lot of fluid. ABS pump may need bled also

Shouldnt need to bleed if you only swapped pads.

Indeed. I've just fitted and bled my Brembo 4pots and got a decent pedal, it took me 3 attempts on each caliper and the master cylinder though. I still think I can get it better but I'm giving it a week to shake up any air left in there...
