You can add the pcv system to that list of things they don't cover as they wouldn't replace mine when it went at 30k miles. Crooks.
They are good as long as you keep up the servicing with VW.The company who underwrites these policies (Mondial) is also used by quite a few other manufacturers like BMW and they've got a good reputation.
I'm thinking most ppl would say no. But those with the warranty who have had it save them a big bill would say yes!
