hi I just purchest a golf gti t ecu from ebay it is the same as mine the seller says it is remaped to stage 1 from 150-190bhp on my ecu when car is on boost it boosts to 0.5 bar how would I tell if it has been remaped will it boost more

0.5bar is standard boost. After mine was mapped I'm getting around 1 bar. Could be a duff ecu or you have a boost leak somewhere?

i have not got the stage 1 ecu yet the 1 that is in the car is standard 1 cant wait to see how the car gose with the new ecu
I will updait when I get it  would I need to change the spring is the dv for stage 1

hi just an updait the ecu turned up today and I put it in new it go's like hell

it boosts to just over 1 bar

yeah and it pulls well in all gears better then standard
