Haha, I had notices there are a few bad ones about, so least I won't be lynched when breaking one. My wife has a Ford Puma, and you wanna see how defensive the forum members are about breaking a good one...especially when a member comes along with a fiesta and breaks one for the engine..Al hell breaks loose..it's quite entertaining to watch it blow up lol

So the ABF and Hydro box is going in, are you going to keep the 4 stud running gear and brakes?

By running gear do you mean, driveshafts etc, would the standard suspension need swapping too?

What do you recommend?? I want to change to the bigger brakes, there's a reason why VW put bigger brakes on the 16v, who am I to change that, so I suppose that'll go for the suspension, plus,  I'll have my family in the car too, I know it's only 35bhp extra, I want to make sure it's all up together.

More the 288 discs and 5/100 stud pattern.
But if the suspension is better then why not but I'm not sure what fits the cab as they are a bit different iirc.

Then yes, I will be swapping to the 16v running gear, seeing as it's all there, might aswell take what I need.

Just need to look into what's needed tool-wise, then I'm ready to go. Neighbour has offered to help, which is good. Not sure on how the manual gubbins goes in, but will take pictures from the donor and copy it,

And I have you lot to help...don't i??

Probably need to press out the hubs and swap shafts for the front but not sure on the rear beam
