Problem solved... possibly. I have been talking about this on an MX5 forum and have someone coming a long way to view it at the weekend.

Things are moving quickly as she's found it's replacement. A Peugeot RCZ . Still better than Charlie's suggestion of a lumbering old Vauxhall saloon.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Isnt the RCZ quite a bit quicker than the MX5?

What makes her more confident in the RCZ than the MX5?
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.

The RCZ is about 160 horsepower, so not that quick, but even so, just because a car can go quickly doesn't mean it has to be driven quickly. I think it's more the feeling of having something a bit more solid around her.

Hope she feels safer in whatever she decides on.  Good that she hasn't let it put her off driving completely.

Good to see you have got it sorted dubber. How many forums are you a member of   I've got a story about the RCZ do you want to hear it. Well here I go when they first came out I worked for psa and so every dealer had to have one as a demo. Well I had one for delivery to a dealer in East anglia I can't remember which one just that they are the laziest people I ever had the pleasure of delivering to. On this day I parked outside the dealer and normally you have to search for the salesmen because they have all ran away (work shy t??ts) anyway I got out of the truck and they were all stood there waiting staring at this nice shiny car. Know where is my omega

so you are selling it then why not just tell me my offer was not enough and you needed x amount for it rather than your snide comment
