f you connect the two pins together then the lights will be on all the time the ignition is on as the pin for the DRLs is powered when the ignition is on.

Car is looking pretty awesome at the minute, how difficult was it to fit the front headlights, I've been watching videos that take the bumper off, and that scares me a little!

I was the same but a couple of torx drivers and you'll be fine. One top tip though is when you take the screws down the side of the bumper in the wheel arch is not to turn the wheels to full lock. If you do the steering wheel may lock and you'll have no movement to unlock with the key. This happened to me and you have to rive at the wheel whilst turning the key in the ignition. The next thing is the lugs from the bumper to wing be careful popping them. You'll need a hand to pop them back on, can be done by yourself better with 2 people.

Thanks mate. Really happy with how it looks at the minute. Still haven't got my wheels sorted yet, to be quite honest, car has taken a back seat at the moment as me and the girlfriend are trying to buy our first house together.

As for fitting the lamps, it really does look and sound more of a nightmare than it actually is. I fitted mine on my own, took me approx 2 hours taking my time, being carefully not to damage anything! I did it step by step, keeping all the screws in order so i knew exactly how it all goes back together. Like Alan mentioned, putting the bumper back on at the end would deffo have been much easier with a second pair of hands. If you need any help though, give me a shout and ill try my best to explain in further details

It's not a problem it'll sit in the back of the cupboard gathering dust! so to confirm the part number of this unit is 1K0937087AL. Anybody willing to tackle that job deserves a head start  i once started to dismember the trim and gave up due to, too tight a space or maybe i was to big to fit in the hole! Take it as a sponsership to get rid o that bulb error..grrrr

Haha.. Well if you insist matey, then i will gladly take it off your hands and give it a go  Thanks ever so much, top bloke!! Ill pm you my address buddy.

Ill have to start routing out all the guides now! I think everything should be okay, my only concern is getting the keys linked back to the car. Everything should be do-able through VCDS shouldn't it? Im not going to have to take a trip to the stealerships for them to 'link up to germany' to sort the key out. I only have one key anyway
