Have you tried the Rforum? A few R owners on here but not many

He did. They basically ripped the p*ss and went on a rant about something for nothing etc etc

They are a nest of vipers over there !!

And it used to be a lot worse there until they had the reshuffle and the new site. One particular mod of the old website used to give the trolls a free pass and actively join in. I got lambasted by the Mafia once for offering some advice to someone with noisy front suspension (suspected suspension top bearings) only to be told I didn't know anything about the R's suspension as I had a GTD (The R has completely different suspension tech I presume?).

The current POV there is that anyone who has bought their R or is PCPing should look down at the leasers as scum or generally inferior beings (rather than someone who should be commended for snatching such a bargain and has theirs built way before most of the buyers are going to have theirs)
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Monkeyhanger, I'm sure you didn't lose much sleep over your RMafia mauling

This is a better site, generally more balanced, less snobby and more grown up, and if vw ever actually get round to building some of the Rs, then hopefully there'll be a big enough pool of R owners to make a trip to Rforum redundant, or good for entertainment purposes only
