You say that now, but the MK7 wait breeds temptation and procrastination. My TR GTD was originally ordered as DBP, and my R on order has since had Pretorias added.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Welcome back old bean.
I might be a lone voice but I still think that the Mk6 R is better looking than the Mk7 R as is evident from the pictures in your signature.

No Asker, I think most of us would agree from most angles the mk6 R was a much meaner looking car and has far more presence than the mk7 R.
Especially with 19" Tallys and the black headlights.

Can't disagree with that M. Ex.  In fact I still think the mk6, in the R and other hot hatch guises, is an all round better looking car.  Many, many wil disagree though

But it's not all about looks.  Luckily sundaydriver will have one of each

Hang out with the 250 Corsa, Clio and Civic drivers that congregate in Halfords Car Park of the Silverlink on a Saturday night? Spook the Doggers that go down St Mary's lighthouse car park in Whitley bay? Go "over the border" to the red light district in Middlesbrough, where meand my mate Lee used to spook kerb crawlers by patrolling the area in his dad's 1 year old white Volvo 850 (with a costume shop flat bobby's hat on the parcel shelf)  when I was at Teesside uni?

Where is the best group hang out in the North East for us?
