Yeah, finding myself zooming in on the gear shift to try and figure out which buttons it's got! The GTi I test drove has ACC but the dealer hadn't listed it in the advert. Given how few I've found with it fitted you'd have thought they might have mentioned it!
Best one I've seen listed in an advert is "Chassis"! No?! Really?! It's got one of those?!

Took me about 7 months to find mine, I had to give up on the search for one with Xenons though, as not many MK6 GTi's have them or at least they didn't when I was looking. So bizarre that Xenon's are an upgrade rather than standard on such a prominent VW, especially when other hatchbacks in it's class have them as standard.

I also found some dealerships would bend over backwards & be extremely helpful, others were just plain awful & unless you wanted a new car & were prepared to splash about 30k you didn't get their attention at all!

Where I got mine from, Alan Day in Hampstead were extremely helpful as were the Stockport branch. The ones local to myself were just awful & not interested in talking to me at all, so strange to get such a different level of service from what is essentially the same company.

Good luck in your search! :)

The winter pack consists of -
1. Heaters Seats (standard with leather)
2. Headlight Washers (standard with xenons) (also don't be fooled by the washer caps on the bumper as all GTI/Ds have them)
3. Low Screen Wash Level Warning Light.

So if the car's got Leather seats there's no way to tell if it's got the winter pack by looking at it? Does the Washer Level Warning Light appear on the dash computer or is there a separate light I can look out for?

Anyone had their 18" Monzas refurbed lately? Seen a couple with scuffed alloys. Just wondered how much I can barter off for this!!

Cheers yet again!

The low washer fluid light should come on when you switch the ignition on and go out soon after if it's there.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Or you could sit in the car and just wash the windscreen until you empty the reservoir and see if the light appears

I wonder how long it would take to get chucked out if you tried doing that in a new car in the showroom?

Had mine refurbed at Pristine Wheels in Woburn Sands last April. They did a great job and charged £390 for all four with tyres on and off.

Cheers Gang,

After a quick look through the forum it sounds like it's not a cheap job getting these alloys refurbed. There's a good looking white GTi up near Burnley with a REVO map and Neuspeed induction kit (sound familiar to anyone on here?!) but the alloys look utterly battered!

Haha! Or just spay until the light washer jets pop up!

A decent diamond cut refurb on 18" will be between £70-£80 plus vat per wheel.  Probably can get it done cheaper but what quality job would it be??
