Usually a speed sensor, you'll need a VAG COM scan to tell you which one though. Once a new one is fitted it should turn off in a few miles as it self tests

have a look at the front wheels, Ill had a CV gaiter go in the past and cover the sensor in crap. Clean with contact cleaner and light went off.

yep they'll fit. I'd only change the dead one though, they can be a hassle to get in/out

There was a fault code, i tryed deleting it but i could not. Ill scan it tomorrow. One of the back wheels gets red hot because the break is seized , its could be that sensor. I would fix it but it comes and goes, its not getting hot anymore.  :embarrassed:

Common fault for the rears to seize, it's the handbrake mechanism. You can fit the Sharan springs to help it release better

Thanks for the tip.
Fault code is 00283 front left speed sensor. Is that the passanger side ?
