Hi,
I had a very similar experience at one of the big tyre places. Mine was only on one wheel and I noticed it before I left. The guy was OK about it, as I made a point of the wheels being in tip top condition. In my case they paid to get the wheel refurbished through my local VW dealer who offer a Monday drop off for Wednesday collection on diamond cut repairs. It cost £95 per wheel, which was refunded to my by the tyre place. VW wouldn't tell me who they use, only that it was in Kent and wasn't lepsons. You wouldn't know the wheel had been repaired unless you really look for it.
If you don't get any joy at the place, take to Twitter and post a picture of the wheels showing the damage they have done, then they will likely get in touch.
This was the same place who setup the wheel alignment for a mk6 golf and didn't own up to not having the mk7 parameters until I questioned the printed alignment report which stated golf mk6!
Needless to say I am new very particular about where I get my wheels done!!
Hope you get it sorted!!
Cheers,
Phil
