Could you please explain how you didvthat? Thanks.

Sure....
Just go into the coding and choose the channel and reduce the speed high beam comes on... it's in km/h btw (even in UK cars).

Address 20:5G0 857 511 D recoded (ADP-Activation speed for high beam assistant) from 58 km/h to 48 km/h

Thank you - thats really appreciated but not sure I am with you.

Could you make it step by step instructions please - like an 'idiots guide'?

Which controller (09 Central electrics, 17 instrument etc).

Is it then via adaptation or coding?

Many thanks

module 20, adaptation, then look for ADP-Activation speed for high beam assistant and change the speed to around 45-50km/h (otherwise it will come on way too soon).

Not got access to that (VCD), how likely is it the dealer will do that?
Or perhaps I could go to a non dealer vw garage?

Im pretty certain a dealer would not be able to do such a "mod".....your best bet is a local VW independent garage or a fellow forum member who has VCDS.

Ken

PS If your ever in Cleethorpes I could do it for you.

60£ for 5 minutes work??????????

It'd be cheaper for you to drive down to M5/J7 and me to code it....
