Yeah, I just posted this up for a bit of fun.
I was sat reading a thread on Briskoda during a boring night shift which highlighted to me that Superchips now have an OBD map out for the GTI which is the first one I've seen which actually quotes for 95RON fuel (albeit rather optimistically). It just made me think how the tuners have to market their wares which in turn makes the standard car seem more powerful going by the graphs.
The only graph I left out there was GIAC as they quote wheel horsepower.
Anyway, as I was reading the Briskoda thread I sat thinking back to my first mk6 GTI which ran REVO software which was rolling roaded on my car on a conservative roller at 260bhp and theres no darn way on this Earth my mk7 is as powerful out of the factory as that car was (it was a very quick car). I also had occasional use of a Bluefinned mk6 GTI which also wasn't anywhere near as powerful as that REVO'd mk6 but was much smoother to drive.
