This question has been asked before but I haven't been able to find the correct answer.
My 2010 GTI has a severe case of road rash, most of them on the bonnet along the front part, just above the headlights. The colour is DPB and I can see that all the chips are white but they're tiny.
What's a good procedure to remove them myself? Have looked at two kits, Chipex and Paints4u.
Chipex seems to be very easy to use, but have seen mixed reviews so looks like a bit of hit and miss. It also seems like a very quick process (although this could be bad for final results of course!)
Paints4u seems to have better reviews and is cheaper. I don't have a polishing machine so I'm very nervous about using a wet & dry paper but also it seems it will take a lot of elbow grease to polish all the light sanding.
Any suggestions?
