The latest problem with my 90 Mk2 8v digi is its started stalling at speed!!!! It started with loosing a beat whist driving at 70mph, only did it one or twice over a period of weeks, never really gave it that much though! Anyway filled the car up with petrol the other day as I always do every two weeks! pulled out the garage and it decided to stall on the middle of the roundabout! :wtf: It just dies and when I start it again it starts no problem! drives perfect for another 5 miles and it stalls again! this time doing 70mph! managed to get it on to the hard sholder! then started instantly no problem again. It kept doing this every 5 miles or so to work and back. Next day did the same journey with no problems and today the stalling is back! I cant trust it now! need to get this sorted as its my daily. Has anyone had similar problems? or any idea what this can be? Might change the fuel filter if not that then could it be fuel pump?(it primes every time when turning on the ignition), fuel pump relay? anything else? any help would be good.
