queuing out onto the roads here in bristol, was no unleaded at a few garages!  :shocked:

this panic buying has not been caused by the goverment tho

Its been caused by the oil companies putting the price of oil up, due to a number of reasons, including hurricane katrina, and the threat of a protest at garages / refinaries accross the country

targetting individual garages unless on a massive scale would acheive nothing. its easier to stop fuel getting out at source and dry the country out that way.

judging by reports on my forum.. they pay roughly a third to a half what we do.

we only pay a tiny bit more than most of europe, apart from holland which is actually more expensive than here.
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

I have got a big shell refinary not far from me and they are threatening to protest there, but its all rumours at the min.

But still its the oil companies that are shafting us
