Down to half a tank and should fill up really but been a remote home worker techy type I'll work from home for a bit! No fuel no work but how long for this time???

 PM Tony is going on about rationing to stop it been a problem open your eyes you have the ultimate solution, solve it by dropping the extortionate tax on fuel which is killing any businesses left in this great land! Seems like the government want to run the country into the ground and we're becoming a third world country with very few home bred businesses left and a supposed recession looming :(

Ahhh rant over :)  best go top Bessie off! just have to hope I don't cover more than 250 miles, Granny driving ahoy :D

panic fuel buying certainly aint happening over here (Belfast) most people are panicing trying to get them & their car home in one piece!!

unfortunaltey motorworld is 2 mns drive away.. bout a fifteen min walk.. and asda ain't much further .. but hopefully i'll be lewavin there soon.. asda fuel is still at 92p and the two garages either side of work have got extautionate prices!!.. (cant spell btw)

I have jsut filled the mk3 up, so at least me or the misses can get to work, I think us runcorn people are gonna have to share lifts into work till the panic goes away

there is a shell station that i can see from my house, there has been a flow of cars in there since i got home from work at 4.30, the forecourt always full, and still going strong  :laugh:

I read this thread and filled the mk2 up. The pumps were packed out :laugh:

why the f**k is this shortage happening again? Is it some sort of quick money government scam? Never really botherd to look into it :rolleyes:

It's the same in america. Panic buying has been taking place since that hurricane katrina.
I filled up last week. still got 2/3 of a tank. I'll just bike to work if I run out.
