I'm suprised your standard clutch is still holding! Ive seen so many people complaining about their clutch slipping just on stage 1. Mine is Dsg so hopefully won't have to touch it. I've also got the Wagner IC, VWR intake with a forge induction hose, Forge recirculation valve, 3 inch Scorpion Decat downpipe, kw v1 coilivers and also the performace pack. How do you find getting your power down with stage 2?l must be difficult with that rediclious amount of torque!

ill be honest, i do spin in third now lol but its not too bad, just put a new set of tyres on, rainsport 3's, seem to be doing well.

Clutch is mostly user dependent, i guess im not as harsh as some people, or they just have less self belief that the clutch is fine like me lol.

You'll be fine with dsg tho, it'll hold up to a lot more than stage 2 anyway judging on previous marks.

Sorry to dig up a old thread just looking a bit of help if possible Hi all I'm new to the site 😁😁
I've a scirocco 2.0tsi  and I've just
Finished installing a
Ko4 turbo
Cts discharge pipe
Miltek turbo back
Apr cai
Revised PCv valve
Revised n75
Revised diverter valve
The problem Iam having is that when the car was being mapped to suit it just wasn't making the required boost when being asked for 16 psi of pressure car was only giving 12psi and so on basically it isn't making the required amount of pressure
Tuner done a quick log and baisiacly narrowed it down to being the n75 I replaced this and still no change at the time I also replaced all vacuum lines etc
Could it be a faulty actuator ??
Any help would be appreciated  😁😁😁

Welcome buddy, if you're ko4 you're a mk5/6 platform so we can't help you cos you're in mk7 land. Someone may know from a previous car or place the question in the mk6 forum, failing that, try mk2 Leon section of seatcupra.net they love playing with stuff.

Hi Graham, I've been thinking about changing the filter or intake and this looks on paper very good. Nice bit of under-bonnet bling too! But for an otherwise standard car, are they worth it? Can you say in reality what difference they make?

Cheers! And please keep the thread going, makes for an interesting read

Thanks Watts.

Unfortunately I'd says unless you're planning on having the ecu played with, any intake modifications will be a little pointless. The car will be able to suck in more air, but it won't ask for it, if that makes sense?

That's what I thought, tbh. I'm not presently considering any performance mods as the way I drive hardly taxes the car :embarrassed: Cheers for the advice though!

Save your money Watts.
Unless you're going to remap you're going to get no benefit despite that looking really nice.
Graham sums it up perfectly there.

Mind you, even though you say you drive pretty sedately you'd still benefit from the massive torque increase a stage 1 would give you at low to mid RPMs. Just saying...  :smug:

Thanks Exonian, but additional torque is going to be a tad troublesome to tyre longevity, surely?
